HCC requires a Communications Officer to fill a key role as part of its in-house team, working at the cutting edge of the food industry both in the UK and internationally.
Critical to the role will be the ability to communicate core messages about Wales’ red meat brands, the industry and its strategic agenda, to diverse audiences including industry stakeholders, Governments, the press and consumers. Of equal importance will be their flair and creativity to help the team to implement an integrated communications strategy, exploiting new media platforms and social media interfaces, and evaluating results.
Applicants are likely to be graduates and must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills. The ability to communicate both in English and Welsh, as well as familiarity with the press and media, and with design and photo/video editing software, would be a distinct advantage.
