Do you want to:

  •     Improve your business;

  •     Travel abroad to visit producers;

  •     Learn more about the global industry;

  •     Feedback information to other producers?

Then HCC would like to hear from you.

HCC offers this annual scholarship to applicants who are employed on a full time basis within the Welsh red meat industry and who will, in the opinion of the interview panel, be able to make an ongoing contribution to the industry.

Successful applicants will spend up to six weeks studying the sheep or beef industry in a country of their choice.

Successful scholars must prove, through a selection process, why it would be of benefit to them as individuals and to the Welsh industry in general if they were selected. They will be expected, on their return, to present details and findings to the farming industry and also undertake a series of presentations to farmer groups.
