Mar 12 2012

Mention the Italian city of Milan and it instantly conjures up an image of a city with breathtaking architecture and a stylish population dressed in the latest designer fashions.

While the city is home to several of the world's leading fashion houses, including Gucci, Versace and Armani, it is also the location of top restaurants with a cuisine that is second to none.

That's why Welsh Lamb, with its premium quality reputation, is on the menu of some of the leading restaurants in Milan - and now one lucky couple has the chance to sample la dolce vita thanks to red meat promotion agency Hybu Cig Cymru.

By answering a simple question on the Welsh Lamb website - - two people will win flights and accommodation for two nights in a luxury 4 Star hotel in Milan.

During their stay they will enjoy a sumptuous six course meal, cooked by Italian celebrity chef Carlo Cracco in his own restaurant - which will naturally include Welsh Lamb as the main course. They will also be treated to a wine tasting session.

Included in the prize is 150 spending money which can be used any way they wish. They could, for example, explore the city's magnificent landmarks including the imposing gothic Duomo Cathedral or the La Scala Opera House.

Alternatively they could visit Galleria Vittorio, rightly described as one of the most elegant shopping centres in the world and home to many designer shops. Or they may want to visit the impressive 80,000 seat San Siro stadium, home to both AC and Inter Milan, two of the world's top football clubs.

Full terms and conditions of the competition, which closes on April 30th, can be found on the Welsh Lamb website -
