Hybu Cig Cymru is wholly owned by the Welsh Government and receives public funds (through the statutory levy and Government grant funding). It is required to comply with The Public Contracts Regulations 2015, and Welsh Government requirements as set out in Managing Welsh Public Money.
The rules require services with a value over £106,047 over the contract period to be advertised through the EU Official Journal. The relevant invitation to tender will also be placed on this website. For those services below this threshold, we follow our internal procurement procedures. This means that for any services with a value over £25,000, the invitation to tender will be placed on Sell2Wales. Invitations to Tender will also be placed on HCC’s website.
For certain services, HCC may enter into framework agreements with a pool of suppliers. Details of these are under current contracts.
