Welsh Lamb will have it all wrapped up at one of the largest music events in Britain next weekend when it is served to VIPs at the star-studded V Festival sponsored by Virgin Media in Chelmsford.
Tom Jones, Paloma Faith, The Stereophonics, Sam Smith, Olly Murs, The Script, Ellie Goulding, Gregory Porter, Calvin Harris and Kasabian are just some of the acts appearing during the weekend.
And Welsh Lamb will be served to the artists, media and other VIPs backstage in Luke’s Kitchen, run by rising star chef Luke Thomas from North Wales.

“We believe that V Festival is the right place and right time to promote the distinctive qualities, provenance and extraordinary value of Welsh Lamb to a much wider audience as part of our major marketing drive across Britain.

“We have worked successfully on many occasions with Luke and we know it’s not unusual for him to want to serve Welsh Lamb because he has been a keen supporter of it ever since he was a teenager,” said Mrs Gill.
“Luke has everything under control and is ready for the weekend to satisfy the appetites of thousands of artists, journalists and VIPs who will visit Luke’s Kitchen in the backstage area.
“We have faith that promoting Welsh Lamb at the V Festival is a good thing because it gives us a unique platform to reach out to a new audience and give them an opportunity to taste Luke’s delicious recipes while they have a nice day.”
Luke has worked closely with HCC ever since he was 14, giving cooking demonstrations on the HCC stand during the Royal Welsh Show.
After a string of successes in his teens and experience of working with the UK’s top chefs, he became Britain’s youngest chef patron and opened his first restaurant, Luke’s Dining Room at the age of 18.
Two years later he started an exciting pop-up social diner in Mayfair, Retro Feast, and recently ventured overseas to open another diner in Dubai. He also has restaurants in Cornwall and Chester, has made numerous television appearances and has published his first cookbook.
