HCC are offering sponsorship for a sheep farmer from Wales to attend the Sheep Breeders Round Table Conference - titled ‘Get better or get gone’ - in Nottingham between 20 – 22 November.
The conference offers an international line-up of speakers including guests from Norway and USA and brings together experts from all over the UK to discuss the challenges and opportunities for sheep breeding.
The event attracts farmers, breeders, researchers and vets and is a great opportunity for anybody involved in sheep breeding to learn more about the industry and listen to experts talk about existing schemes and opportunities for the future.
Hybu Cig Cymru - Meat Promotion Wales (HCC) is a co-organiser of the event and the sponsorship opportunity will cover the full conference registration fee, single accommodation and all meals from Friday lunch to Sunday lunch.
“If you are a keen sheep breeder and would like to expand your knowledge and understanding of the industry, we would encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity,”said James Ruggeri, HCC’s Industry Development Executive. “Sponsorship forms can be downloaded from the HCC website - www.hccmpw.org.uk - and the closing date for applications is 16 October 2015.”
More information and the full conference programme can be found on the National Sheep Association (NSA) website: www.nationalsheep.org.uk/SBRT
