Terms & Conditions for Facebook/Instagram competition – January 2019

  1. The competition will close at 23:59 on Thursday 31 January.
  2. Entries will be accepted on Facebook (Hybu Cig Cymru – Meat Promotion Wales) and Instagram (Hybu Cig Cymru).
  3. Entrants will be expected to name their red meat recipe and post a photo of the dish
  4. To enter:
    1. Facebook: the name and photo of the dish must be in the comments of competition post (pinned to the top of the page)
    2. Instagram: tag @HybuCigCymru in your story or post
  5. The red meat recipes can include lamb, beef or pork.
  6. By entering the competition, the winner gives his/her permission to HCC to print the recipe (name of winner will be acknowledged on the leaflet).
  7. The recipe must be the entrants’ own or family recipe. Entrants cannot enter with a recipe that’s been published elsewhere for copyright reasons.
  8. HCC will choose one dish based on the following criteria:
    1. it must be a healthy, balanced dish
    2. it must include a variety of ingredients
    3. it must look and sound appealing
    4. it must be original and innovative
  9. One winner will be selected after 31 January. The winner will be announced on Facebook and Instagram.
  10. HCC will contact the winner via Facebook or Instagram (dependent on which social media channel they used to enter the competition).
  11. The winner must supply HCC with the recipe for their dish within 5 days of being contacted.
  12. The winner’s dish will be cooked, styled, photographed, and published. A short recipe video will also be created using the recipe.
  13. The winner will receive a £50 meat voucher which can be spent at any HCC approved butcher’s shop.
